Cut your own Montana blooms

Wander our sunflower and flower field, located at 603 Arena Rd in Hamilton, MT. Cut your own stems to take home. It's a favorite summer outing for families, friends, and anyone who loves flowers.

Photography in the field is free with admission during public hours — bring your camera!

How it works

Admission is $5 per person — a $25 flower cup includes 1 admission, and a $100 bucket includes 4 admissions. Sunflowers and other large stemmed flower varieties can also be purchased per stem.

1. Stop at the shop

Start at the flower shop at 603 Arena Rd (third driveway on the left). Purchase your admission, cups, or buckets — we have clippers available to borrow.

2. Pick your size

Cup — $25 (a generous bouquet, includes 1 admission) or Bucket — $100 (about 5 cups, includes 4 admissions). Just here to wander? Admission is $5 without a flower purchase. Admission is free for babies and young children in strollers or baby carriers.

3. Head into the field

With admission paid and your cup or bucket in hand, grab the clippers and find some pretties amongst the flowers.

A few field rules

  • No dogs, please — we love fluffers, but ask that you keep them at home.
  • We provide clippers for every cup and bucket — no need to bring your own snips.
  • Kids must be supervised at all times, and everyone stays on the paths between rows.
  • Cut stems long and let them come free with a clean snip — no yanking or tugging, it's kinder to the plant and gives you a longer stem to work with.
  • We're weather-dependent. The field may close for heat or storms — check our hours or give us a call before you make the drive out.
